At Calf & Cub Creative we like to offer a variety of paper/card types.
We aim to use 100% FSC certified paper, and also offer eco options such as recycled, biodegradable & plantable card.
Here's a guide on the card we keep in stock to help you choose the perfect card for your stationery.

Recycled White Card - Smooth
This product is 100% recycled and made from FSC certified recovered fibres.
Made in Europe, our recycled card is an environmentally friendly choice. It is off-white and uncoated, with a coarse texture and earthy, flecked depths. It gives finished print a flatter, modern feel because it is more absorbent than coated papers.
Ideal for: Everything! This paper is a great all-rounder.

Recycled Kraft Card
This product is made from 100% recycled, post-consumer waste.
Made in Europe, our recycled Kraft card is earthy brown and brings a vintage edge to print. It has a natural, textured appearance.
Kraft card suits bold, dark coloured designs and retro themes and has an uncoated finish.
Ideal for: Hang tags, Business cards, Promotional handouts, greeting cards, postcards, invitations, note cards.

Recycled Linen Textured Card
This card is recycled
Our recycled Linen Textured card is a deluxe, tactile paper with a fine-lined texture. A brighter white than our recycled smooth card which gives great print results.
Ideal for: anything that needs a dash of textured luxury. Logo tags, thank you cards, business cards
it can be written on with a biro pen. It is embossed so you can see the emboss as an imprint on the reverse and relief on the front

Recycled White Grain card
Made in the UK, our eco-friendly, recycled card made with 50 – 70% spent recycled brewers grain & 30 - 50% ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) virgin fibre.
The spent grain can be seen in the card as flecks and speckles - creating an unusual, unique finish.
Ideal for: Thank you cards, tags, business cards - note the flecks will show through the print

Plantable Seeded Paper
Our lux seeded paper is 100% biodegradable that is made with post-consumer materials (Tree free) and embedded with seeds.
When the paper is planted in a pot of soil, the seeds grow and the paper composts away. All that is left behind is flowers, and no waste.
ideal for: Thank you cards, business cards, greeting cards
Weight: 200 GSM (approx)
Seeds: poppy, daisy, rudbeckia and forget me not.
To grow the paper just place in a pot with compost, water well and make sure the paper is kept moist at all times. Do not let it dry out as this will reduce the chance of growth. Keep the pot somewhere light and warm. Once the seeds start are large enough, you can even transfer them to your garden. Do not plant in the wild.

Please note there may be occasions where Calf & Cub Creative out source printing - for double sided tags or double sided business cards for instance. We will ensure to have your items printed on the equivalent card stock - but t may differ slightly in thickness or colour.
